Growing Healthy Kids


How can you ensure your little ones are as healthy as they can be, as happy as they can be, and eating food as nutritional as you would like it to be?

Join us at 7:30pm on Wednesday March 13, 2013 in the hall of Warrawee Public School to hear three respected speakers sharing with us from their areas of expertise:

Robert Hardwick MB.BS (Syd. Hons), M.Med (Syd. Hons), DipPaed (NSW), FRACP.
Robert is a well-known consultant paediatrician with broad interests including newborn care, developmental and neurological functioning of children, allergies and evidence-based medicine. Robert is married to Joanne and has three adult children.

Colleen Hirst B.A. (Macqu.), M.A. (UWS)
Colleen is a clinical psychologist and family therapist who has worked in the counselling industry for over 30 years. Key models in her approach to counselling include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. Colleen is married to Greg and has five adult children.

Ben Waters B.App.Sc. (UWS)
Ben loves food. Ben worked in a number of Restaurants and moving to Sydney in 2001, he studied a Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Technology) and has worked as a Research Scientist in the Food Industry. His studies involved nutrition and manufacturing. Ben is married to Robyn, and has 3 girls, all who love ‘Daddy’s cooking.’

After each short talk, there will be a chance for you to ask whatever questions you have. The event will conclude with wine, cheese and a chance to mingle with the speakers and other parents.
