Carols on the lawn, a catered meal and some bubbly? Yes please!

Join us for Warrawee Community Carols where you can enjoy some family fun and sing carols to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This is a free community event, a variety of meals can be purchased from the club as well as a glass of champagne or soft drink.

Where?

Held on the Croquet Lawn at Warrawee Bowling Club, 1479 Pacific Highway, Warrawee. For directions please click HERE.

What to Bring?

  • a picnic blanket
  • your family & friends
  • singing voices

What time?

You are welcome to arrive from 6:00pm for dinner on the lawn where you can purchase a glass of champagne and a meal. The Carols themselves begin around 7:00pm featuring the Warrawee Public School mixed choir.

What food & drink can I purchase?

Meals and drink, including champagne and soft drink, can be purchased at the Club. They will have a wide range of affordable and appropriate meals for adults and children.

Parking?

We encourage you to walk as there is only limited parking available at the Bowling Club, and no parking is available on the Pacific Highway. If you need to drive you may wish to park on nearby Borambil St, Heydon Ave or Fox Valley Rd.

What is the place of faith in the public square? Theologian and Pastor Rev Dr Michael Jensen charted a vision for the future, before NSW Premier the Hon. Mike Baird MP and former Auditor-General of NSW Peter Achterstraat AM shared something of their experience of Christian faith in public office. The evening was then opened up for an extended Q&A.

Rev. Dr Michael Jensen is the Senior Minister at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Darling Point. Michael is a theologian and pastor. He completed his doctorate at Oxford University in 2008 and has published a number of books, including Martyrdom and Identity: The Self on Trial and My God, My God: Is it possible to believe anymore? Michael lives in Sydney with his wife and four children. Michael’s talk is available to watch here or download here.




The Hon. Mike Baird, MP, is the Premier of NSW. Mike entered politics following an 18-year banking career. Prior to his election to Parliament as the Member for Manly in 2007, Mike was Head of Institutional Banking for HSBC in Australia and New Zealand. Following the election of the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government in 2011, he was appointed Treasurer and in 2014 was sworn in as the State’s 44th Premier. Mike is married to Kerryn and they have three children. He is a keen surfer and is passionate about a variety of sports. You can watch Mike’s talk here or download here.



Peter Achterstraat AM was the Auditor-General of NSW from 2006―2013. Peter has spent 20 years in the Australian Tax Office where he held a variety of roles. He was admitted to the Bar of the NSW Supreme Court in 1983 and a Barrister in the High Court of Australia in 1985. Peter is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Sydney’s Graduate School of Government, is a Principal at the global advisory firm Advisian, and NSW State President of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
